B.A. (Pass Course) & B.A. English (Hons.)

In this programme, the students are required to take compulsory and elective subjects (as listed below). 

Minimum Eligibility Conditions

  • Pass in Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) of Board of School Education, Haryana with English as a subject or any other Examination recognised as equivalent thereto by Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra 
  • For admission in B.A. Part-I minimum marks in qualifying examination is 35%.
  • Admission will be granted strictly on merit basis (presently online mode of preparing the merit list), as per the instructions issued by Department of Higher Education Haryana and Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.

Course Structure of B.A. Programme

(A) Compulsory Subjects: English, Hindi, Environmental Studies, Computer Awareness Level-1

(B) Elective Subjects
Choose any two subjects as per the availability of seats, and the subject combinations approved by KUK: 

Economics, English, Functional English, Hindi, History, Home Science, Marketing, Mathematics, Music (Vocal & Instrumental),  Political Science, Sanskrit

Note :
1. Mathematics can be opted only with Sanskrit & Economics by the student who had Mathematics as one of the subject at 10+2 level.
2. Elective subjects once opted in first year shall continue for entire course.

3. B.A. English (Hons.) will have to choose only one subject from the list of Elective Subjects.

B. Com.

Minimum Eligibility Conditions

1) Pass in Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) of Board of School Education, Haryana with English as a subject or any other examination recognised as  equivalent thereto by Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra
2) For admission in B.Com.-1st, minimum 40% marks in aggregate with commerce stream and minimum 50% marks in aggregate with Arts & Science stream are required.
3) Admission will be granted strictly on merit basis (presently online mode of preparing the merit list), as per the instructions issued by Department of Higher Education Haryana and Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.

Duration of the Course 

3 Years (6 Semesters)

Course  Structure

A student pursuing B.Com. (General) has to study 06 papers in each semester.

Every student have to choose one optional paper in each of the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Semesters. The optional paper has to be chosen from three optional groups: Finance & Taxation; Marketing and Human Resource Management.

A candidate will have to continue same specialization group opted once in 3rd Semester. It will not be changed in any subsequent semesters.

B.Sc. (Non Medical); B.Sc. (Medical) & B.Sc. (Biotechnology)

The college provides the B.Sc. programme in the Semester mode in core stream of Medical, Non-Medical  and Biotechnology.

Minimum Eligibility Condition for Admission

1. Pass in Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Science Stream) from Board of School Education, Haryana with English as a subject or any other Examination recognised as equivalent thereto by Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.

2. For admission in B.Sc.-1st, minimum 40% marks are  required in qualifying examination i.e.10+2. 

3. Admission will be granted strictly on merit basis (presently online mode of preparing the merit list), as per the instructions issued by Department of Higher Education Haryana and Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.

Course  Structure

Every student pursuing B.Sc. (Non-Medical), B.Sc. (Medical) and B.Sc. (Biotechnology) has to study 03 Compulsory papers in 1st year viz. English, EVS and Computer Awareness Level-I. In 2nd Year, Hindi/Sanskrit will be Compulsory.

B.Sc. (Non-Medical) students have three elective subjects in each semester, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

B.Sc. (Medical) students have three elective subjects in each semester, Botany, Zoology and Chemistry.

B.Sc. (Biotechnology) students have three elective subjects in each semester, Botany, Zoology and Biotechnology.
