Activities

Various events were organized throughout the year:

1. In the auditions-cum preliminary talent search on 06 & 07 September 2017, best talents were selected by the panel, from among large number of contestants.
2. Final “TALENT SEARCH COMPETITION” was organized in the college premises on 08 & 09 September, 2017. More than 150 students participated in various events like Singing, Dancing, Quiz, Poetical Symposium, debate etc. Three prize winners were selected for each competition.

3. The winners of the talent show were further trained for participation in various events of Zonal Youth Festival, organized by Department of Youth and Cultural Affairs, KUK from 2 October-4 October, at Government (PG) College, Israna. Around 50 students participated in 28 items. We got 1 Prize (Recommended) in Collage Making, 2nd Prize (Commended) in Classical Dance, Classical Instrumental, Haryanvi Folk Solo, Western Vocal Solo and 3rd Prize in Haryanvi Dance (Male), Rituals as well as Debate. The winning students were felicitated in “Award Ceremony” in the college on 13th October, 2017. The winners of Zonal Youth festival also participated in different events in 40th Inter-zonal Youth festival held at D.A.V. College, Sadhaura from 10th -12th November 2017.

4. Our 9 students participated in various events in Academic Fest “KITES-2017” organized at Hindu College,Sonepat on 11^th

5. Fifteen students participated in various events in district level Competition organized at Desh Bandhu Gupta Govt. College, Panipat on 14^th. The students won 1^st Prize in Rangoli, 3^rd Prize in Declamation and 1^st Prize in essay writing competition.

6. Cultural Committee organized a Guest lecture on “Say No to Chinese Products” in collaboration with “Swadeshi Jagran Manch” on 14^th October, 2017. Sh. Kashmiri Lal was the keynote speaker who encouraged staff and students to boycott Chinese products and use Indigenous products.

7. During “Vigilance Awareness Week (30^th October to 4^th November), Cultural Committee in Association with IOCL, Panipat conducted an outreach programme on 3^rd November on the theme “My Vision-Corruption Free India”, where in Poster Making, Slogan Writing and Elocution competitions were organized.

8. Two students participated in “Declamation Contest” organized at Gulzari Lal Nanda Centre, Kurukshetra University on 30^th January, 2018, one of them bagged consolation prize.

9. 48 students of various departments represented the college in Annual Fest “MAESTROS EXTRIME 2018” organized at PIET, from 31^st January to 1^st February 2018, and they won many prizes.

10. Our 6 students participated in State Level Annual Inter College Academic and Cultural Fest “Dishayen” organized at Arya(PG) College, Panipat on 24 February, 2018.

11. 22 students participated in various events in District level Inter-college competition held at Desh Bandhu Gupta Govt. College, Panipat on 26 February, 2018. We won 1^st prizes in Power point presentation & Slogan Writing, 2^nd prizes in Essay Writing, Painting & Skit, 3^rd Prizes in Quiz Competition & speech competition.

12. During the Annual Function of the college on 9^th March 2018, our students presented wonderful items like various forms of Dance, Singing and were highly appreciated by the viewers.
