Department of Marketing of the College started its endeavour for specialized education in the field of marketing. The department brings together the conventional and innovative approaches of marketing within the framework of professionalism. The department focuses on practical exercise, assignments, group discussions and case study to enhance problem solving or presentation skills. The faculty implements best teaching learning process, professional programmes and live team projects to groom young workforce to enable them to assume valuable skills required to become marketing professionals, supply chain professionals and team leaders. Marketing programmes for the students provide special skills and knowledge which help them in creation of pricing strategies, promotion of sales and implementation of advertising methods in global competitive corporate world. The department is also committed to attain academic distinction as an ideal centre in the field of marketing. In addition, the department also lays importance on co-curricular and extracurricular activities. The subject of marketing is open for arts students, who can opt this subject with other elective subjects. The core subjects in marketing are basics of marketing, sales management, advertising sales management, rural marketing and retail management.

The resource person was Mr. Lalit Wadhwa, Assistant Professor at Geeta Institute of Management & Technology, Kurukshetra. The main objective of the lecturer was to motivate the students for improving their knowledge skill, attitudes and values appropriate to life long success.
Organized State level Essay Writing and Slogan Writing Competitions on various general topic related to “Politics and Marketing”. The objective of this competition is to provide the platform for the students to show their writing skills and to test interpretation skill of students and to give them the liberty to express their views on subject according to their prospective. These type of competitions also go a long way to boost confidence among students.
