INITIATIVE TOWARDS SUSTAINABILITY
Establishing an Eco club in the college is a fantastic initiative to promote environmental awareness, sustainability and students community engagement. Understanding the central role of youth in saving the environment, it encourages them for spreading the message of adopting an eco-friendly lifestyle in society at large.
The club provides a platform to create awareness about biodiversity conservation and local environmental issues by urging people to adapt their daily habits to the most sustainable options and adopt eco-friendly practices like recycling & saving non-renewable resources. It emphasizes on the fact that the commitment to go green requires small initiative and setup museum in the college.
Vision:- Ecoclub aims to increase the awareness among students regarding environmental issues and changing student’s attitude towards the environment by enlisting their active participation in club’s activities.
Zero Waste Mission: – Use a set of Three Dustbins (Red, Green and Yellow) for recycling the wastes in the college.
